History Fest is held the second weekend of October at Jack McGowan’s farm outside of Mankato. It has grown into a four-day weekend of historical, hands-on education and recreation. The event and all the activities within it are designed to teach children about the past in an engaging manner, and the man at the center of it is retired businessman Jack McGowan. Come and hear his story!
