Black Mankato community members share their stories and experiences with microaggressions. Microaggressions are defined as “the everyday, subtle, intentional — and oftentimes unintentional — interactions or behaviors that communicate some sort of bias toward historically marginalized groups,” said Kevin Nadal, author, activist and professor. This is episode 2 of the four-part video series, “Amplifying Black Voices,” which was created to promote understanding, reflection, and conversation, as well as a willingness to examine the often uncomfortable topic of racism.
