Stretch & Flex

Start your day with some gentle stretches. Staying flexible can help you move better throughout your day and prevent common muscle injuries. This 45-minute class you will move through simple stretch that will target your upper, middle and lower body muscles. Some stretches will be done from the floor. Warming up your muscles prior to class is recommended.

Tai Chi for Health @ Spring Lake Park

Tai Chi for Health is an effective exercise program for persons with joint or back pain, and those concerned about balance and falling. This specific Tai Chi program is easy to learn, and provides many health benefits in a relatively short time. Movements can be modified to accommodate mobility issues for any participant and can be done seated as well as standing. Participants will learn one or two movements per lesson, working towards completing six basic and six advanced movements.

Yoga classes at VINE are highly instructional with modifications offered to change the intensity of poses. Classes focus on attention to alignment and a mindful experience. Level 2 or 3, depending upon the poses

Aqua Yoga @ VINE Adult Community Center Pool

Warm water exercise is an effective and gentle activity for improving one’s health. No swimming experience needed.

Level 1: Gentle movement including walking, stretching, and balance activities. May include use of noodles, kickboards, and weights.

Aqua Yoga is included with premium and platinum membership or $5 with basic and $7 with supporting membership for each visit.
