People To Jobs

Through the combined efforts of volunteer drivers using their own vehicles and paid drivers using VINE mini-vans, we coordinate employment related transportation for single parents, immigrants and other low-income workers.  Transporting the young children of low-income workers to daycare when their parents go to work is also an important part of the service provided.  VINE, the Greater Mankato Area United Way and Blue Earth County Employment Services jointly sponsor the program.  Contact Carol Clark, VINE’s transportation manager, for information about eligibility.
